Great Christmas stay. We really enjoyed the festive atmosphere and holiday decorations. The location was perfect, close to the main square and the church. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had a good selection. We also loved the spa area and the relaxation room with great views of the mountains.
The room was a bit outdated and could have used some renovations. , the parking was limited and we had to park in the city parking spots.

The hotel is centrally placed, with direct access to the town and ecclesiastical centres only seconds away on foot. Parking as one would expect is not as easy as for a hotel on the outskirts, with the hotel only being able to provide minimal parking, which appeared to be on an 'first come first served' availability only, not as described on the website; this is entirely understandable, due to the age of this classic family run establishment. However the hotel is right next to the unobtrusive main carpark at the town centre, so really parking is not an issue here. Our stay was over a christian festival weekend, so the Hotel was very busy as they assist with the celebrations, but the staff coped very well. It seems the family who own the hotel are improving the hotel's rooms and facilities bit by bit, so there are some areas that are newly finished and right up to date, however some other parts retain a quaint historic touch to them. Overall our stay was ok, the staff were very amiable and breakfast was a very good continental one with their restaurant menu containing a good rustic selection of dishes.
Our reservation with Booked.net was easy as usual, the room was described in the text as a 'pilgrim room' but as a standard room on the main room description on the website, we did not know what really to expect, but to add, we will not be booking any 'pilgrim rooms' in the future.
